The flower begins with a line.
Yangcai is built through relationship: the carved line creates the boundary, and colour gives the recessed field its quiet pulse. The result is not a printed image, but a surface that changes as the vessel moves through light.
The seed-pod-like lid knob echoes the botanical panel, bringing the decoration back to the hand each time the pot is opened.
