The Shipiao form is broad, stable, and quietly architectural. A single carved blossom rests at its centre, bringing warmth to the disciplined geometry of the stone-ladle silhouette.

The floral panel is not applied decoration. Its line is cut into the clay and its colour settles within the incision, so the bloom belongs to the body of the vessel.
