Floral Black Duo Zhi
A dark vessel, lit by a single flowering branch.
The Duo Zhi form is made quieter by a deep black unglazed body. A pale flowering branch crosses the front like a small pause in the dark, while the sculptural lid knob gives the hand a clear point of attention before the first pour.

A vessel of good wishes
Black clay makes the blossom visible.
The light branch is set against the mineral darkness of the clay, so the decoration is read through contrast rather than excess. As the vessel turns, the black surface moves from soft charcoal to a restrained satin reflection.
This is a teapot for close looking: the high loop handle, direct angular spout and broad stepped lid keep the object useful while the flower gives it its own quiet language.
